The shuttle passes by a meeting point outside & in front of door D on the arrival level of terminal 2 of the airport to pick you up. You will be driven 2 hours south to the small fishing village of Conceição de Jacareí, where you change for a speedboat for the final trip to the main pier of Abraao on Ilha Grande. The boat crossing takes around 20 minutes.

Shuttle passes between 08:00 - 08:45 am.
For the best chance of arriving on time, the first departure is for:
- Domestic flights arriving until 07:15 am
- International flights arriving until 06:45 am
SECOND DEPARTURE
Shuttle passes between 12:00 - 12:45 pm.
For the best chance of arriving on time, the second departure is for:
- Domestic flights arriving until 11:15 am
- International flights arriving until 10:45 am
THIRD DEPARTURE
Shuttle passes between 15:00 - 15:30 pm.
For the best chance of arriving on time, the third departure is for:
- Domestic flights arriving until 14:15 pm
- International flights arriving until 13:45 pm
IMPORTANT - The shuttle comes from the city where it first picks up other passengers before passing the airport. Although we do everything we can to stick to the above schedule, the reality of navigating in a big city means that there are possibilities of road delays which could affect the schedule on your day of travel. The above times are a guide only and based on the usual time the shuttle arrives, rather than rigid schedules. You will be given contact details to stay connected for updates on the van's arrival to the meeting point.

After your booking, we will send you information on where to meet the van for your chosen departure time.
You need to be at the meeting point no later than the departure time you choose. If you miss the van due to a flight delay or immigration problem, and there are no later departures with availability, then the transfer will be considered a 'No Show' with no refund or compensation given.
Luggage allowance is 1 standard sized suitcase or backpack per person and 1 carry-on bag per person. The carry-on item needs to able to fit at your feet or on your lap if no other space is available with rest of luggage.
The boat crossing to Abraao is included with your booking and the boat portion of the trip will be operated by a third party speedboat ferry company.
There are no vehicles on Ilha Grande, and once your boat has arrived at the Abraao pier, you make your own way to your accommodation on the island. There are porters on hand which you may hire to cart your luggage to your hotel.
Please be aware that there are no ATM machines on the island, so remember to take out cash before the shuttle arrives, because the driver will not be able to stop to use the ATM on the way. Many shops, restaurants, and hotels on the island do accept Visa and MasterCard.
